Ingredients
  

  • For the Cruffins:
  • 1 sheet puff pastry store-bought or homemade, thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley optional
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven : Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter :
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley (if using). Set aside.
  • Cut and Layer the Puff Pastry :
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly on a floured surface. Cut it into 12 equal squares.
  • Brush each square lightly with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Place one square in each muffin cup, pressing it gently into the bottom and sides to form a cup shape.
  • Add the Cheese :
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into each puff pastry cup.
  • Top with another square of puff pastry, pressing the edges lightly to seal. Brush the tops with the remaining garlic butter.
  • Bake the Cruffins :
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18–22 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and puffed up.
  • Garnish and Serve :
  • Let the cruffins cool slightly in the muffin tin, then transfer them to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Substitute mozzarella with cheddar, pepper jack, or a blend of cheeses for variety.
Use gluten-free puff pastry for a gluten-free version.
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
